Which will bring you wellness and serenity thanks to the peaceful atmosphere that reigns in these cottages, atmosphere that we particularly wanted to create for you.

LAVENDER CHAFF

A natural resource here in Provence. It is used as an insulating concrete, an insulating plaster and of course as a temperature controller. Chopped and mixed with lime, it becomes one of the most used wall, floor and roof insulator. It can be used inside as well as outside. Besides being an affordable product it’s also ecological and recyclable. The lavender chaff can adapt itself to climate, that’s why it can regulate temperature in winter as well as in summer. Chaff insulating is a high quality insulation and is highly sustainable over time. Another perk of lavender chaff is that it has a repulsive effect on insects. Being a natural soothing product, it stores carbon inside the walls. This product helps fighting against greenhouse effect because its production does not require the use of toxic chemicals or use a lot of energy and its installation is pollution free.

A GREEN HAMLET

Here, the nature is so generous, it gives us so many things that we couldn’t not try to give a bit back in return and try to preserve it.

A 33m² photovoltaic system adorns the main roof of the mas, leading us to an equilibrium between our annual consumption of electricity and the electrical production that we sell to ERDF. For the sake of the local economy and its development, we try to promote, as much as possible, short circuits for all the products that we offer in our hamlet. Selective sorting is also a permanent goal in the everyday life of the hamlet. We’ve started the process of replacing every light bulbs by LED lamps in all of our accommodations and premises, as part of the energy transition. All of our lighting systems and electrical equipment are installed with programming system to regulate their running, depending on pollution peaks and to encourage low consumption periods. Water is also preserved, thanks to water-saving devices set on all of our taps and we would like to raise awareness among our guests on the rational use of this precious and fragile resource.
